Just a Waltz -

Easy range and notes; quarter, half and eighth note values only.

Interlude -
flute trio
Interlude is a delightful and refreshing junior/intermediate flute trio designed to give equal attention to all three parts. The trio creates contrasts of tonality (alternating major/minor areas) and articulation (legato phrases, short slurs and staccato passages) as well as imaginative melody sharing and contrapuntal styles. The range is comfortably within the ability expected for this level and in an easy key and time signature. A few extra accidentals and syncopations add just enough challenge without causing frustration for the students.
