Dust Bunnies - collection of 10 solos

Written as an homage to my 10-year-old daughter's bedroom and all the wonders it contained! From hamsters to toads, moonlight streams to secret hiding spots, these pieces are symbolic of every child's room. Contains the Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 2 study piece, Moon Through the Window.

Forgotten Dreams - collection of 7 solos

An expressive and contemporary set of solos. Students will be exposed to many interesting composition techniques including tonal shifts, syncopated rhythms, lush harmonies and gentle melodies, brilliant cross hand techniques and chord clusters. Contains the Grade 8 study piece from the Royal Conservatory of Music Syllabus, Spider On The Ceiling.

Solitude

An emotional, dramatic solo in a romantic, yet contemporary style. Technical elements include wide arpeggios, crossed hands, an extensive range, ornamented grace notes and powerful dynamics. This piece will appeal to any student or player that expresses their personal inner feelings through music! Included in the Canadian National Conservatory of Music (CNCM) Northern Lights Grade 9 Repertoire Book.

EARLY ADVANCED to Grade 9

Perpetuo

A study in polytonality (the right hand is in Db major key and the left hand in C major), cross hand techniques, equal hand strength, percussive effects, left hand melody projection under a right hand accompaniment figure, chromaticism and expressiveness. The mood is vibrant, energetic, driving and intense! A very exciting piece to learn, perform, and hear.

The form is a Theme and Variations, and each variation features a different compositional technique including neo-romantic, polyphonic, fugal, quartal /quintal, 12-tone, and modern folk! This Is Me - 
collection of 8 solos

Designed as an emotional outlet for young people. Teaches musical awareness and expression through specific feelings and "painting" them with sound. Love, anger, sadness, joy, silliness, loneliness, happiness, frustration ... all are expressed musically. Emphasizes upon young students that music is nothing without feeling, and neither are we!

Off Balance Duets - collection of 6 duets

This volume of six imaginative duets is designed for the scenario where one player is a bit older/more advanced than the other. This is such a common occurrence in families, and between friends. For each duet, either the Secondo or the Primo is one level easier than the other. Also makes for great teacher or parent and student playing opportunities.
