2-Part Choral Works

The Moon

An eerie, atmospheric, spooky, and fun choral work. Rhythmically easy, yet still challenging due to the spooky harmonies. Young singers will love a bit of hissing, squeaking and howling at the moon! The poem is from "A Child's Garden of Verses" by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Our Farewell Song

Here is the perfect end of year piece for your first year choir!  Our Farewell Song not only makes your group sound great (because it sounds harder than it is), it also carries a fun message of thanks and good wishes.  Have a few singers with great high notes that like to show off?  Showcase them with a little touch of diva near the end.  Easy notes, fun rhythms, and finger snaps will have everyone tapping their feet and swinging along.

Our World is Full of Colour

Our World is Full of Colour is a wonderful addition to any Elementary, Middle School or Community Children's Choir's repertoire. Easy to learn yet catchy melody, easy rhythms and optional percussion create a fun, engaging and entertaining piece. Utilizing the best range for young voices (D above middle C to D an octave above ) there are no notes too high or too low (rare in children's choir music). A delightful, "echoey" Part 2 teaches simple harmonies and counter-melody techniques. This also is a perfect unison piece as well, singing just Part 1. The text is relevant to young and old alike and carries a deeper meaning easily discovered and appreciated by both the choir and the audience! Our World is Full of Colour is sure to be a favourite with teacher's, students, and listeners!
